My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness.

Paul alludes to his “thorn in the flesh,” a weakness with which he was forced to deal throughout his Christian ministry. If we are honest with ourselves, we can all identify a weakness in our lives, whether physical, spiritual, or something else.

To be faithful to Christ’s service, we need to work to overcome this weak area. As did Paul, we can pray, study, practice and improve our art, and discipline our lives. It is through grace and these disciplines that our ministry through the worship arts will flourish and become a true offering to the glory of God.
