The Fellowship of United Methodists in Music and Worship Arts exists to assist worship leaders in creating meaningful worship experiences that bring people into deeper relationships with God and each other. Founded to support musicians in The United Methodist Church, The Fellowship has grown to include worship artists, clergy, and laity involved in all aspects of worship from a variety of denominations and experiences.
Join the Fellowship
Members fully support the mission and ministry of The Fellowship and receive benefits beyond those offered free on our website.
The Fellowship has become an organization of great support and collaboration! Besides connecting with other ritual artists, the resources are tremendous! In a time when there is concern about declining membership in The United Methodist Church, our denomination and The Fellowship are alive and well!
I joined The Fellowship in 1956, four months after the charter was signed. The Fellowship has richly influenced my ministry through the persons I have met and from whom I have learned. Equally important are the friendships I have formed all over the country.
Worship Design Studio
Through speaking at Fellowship convocations over the years, working with Fellowship members on General Conferences, and employing Fellowship artists through the Worship Design Studio, I cannot underscore enough the essential resources and support The Fellowship has represented in my ministry.
Fellowship President, 2013-15
The Fellowship has given me a network of friends and colleagues that have inspired, comforted, and challenged me as I continue to discern and follow the calling God has placed on my life as a musician and ritual artist. I give God great thanks for The Fellowship!
